Thermally Conductive Elastomers

High thermal conductivity and low durometer means effective compensation for stack tolerances.  The molding process allows stepped surfaces, which means equal compression on different height components. 

 

Cool Shield parts and interfaces, made from CoolPoly elastomers, can be molded into complex shapes, molded directly onto parts, or used to encapsulate components.  CoolPoly elastomers are available in both electrically conductive and dielectric (electrically insulative) compounds and range in thermal conductivity from 1.0 W/mK to 15 W/mK.
