Shield project engineers, using SolidWorks®, can assist customers with
their part design. Project engineers can easily import/export 3D CAD
models and share ideas with customers using industry standard CAD
formats.

Parts / Tooling
Cool
Shield has a complete and modern tooling shop to produce machined
prototypes and prototype mold tooling. The tool room is staffed with
experienced toolmakers and machinists. Equipment includes multiple CNC
workstations, wire and EDM's, lathes, and ancillary equipment.
Protoype parts can be molded out of CoolPoly compression molded
blocks, molded from mudd molds or other low cost tooling.

Using modern 3D CAD tools, Cool Shield's experienced mold designers,
tool makers and machinists can custom-build state of the art high
volume production injection molds.

molding thermally conductive materials. With state of the art
automated manufacturing cells, Cool Shield can offer customers
production high volume injection molding services. With 6 presses
ranging from 30-300 tons, Cool Shield's production molding capability
is flexible and can accommodate a variety of parts. Each cell is fully
automated and is capable of insert molding, in line part inspection,
and packaging.
